The TC is a WoW guild of normal people who just enjoy playing the game. We don't live WoW, we have normal lives. Our emphasis is maturity, teamwork, sharing, and having fun. We enjoy playing our characters well and learning how to play them effectively, but we don't ostracize members who make mistakes. We all make mistakes at times. We all put external effort into learning how to play our character correctly collectively, helping each other out both in game and out of game. While we are small, our guild bank is very well stocked and our players are very active.
What makes the Trinity Council different from other guilds?
We are determined to develop a solid guild from the ground up. We are committed to moving forward and will invest in our members so we can do it together. Our resources are plentiful both in game and out of game. We make good use of the web with an active guild site as well as having lots of professions and materials in game. We pride ourselves on being extremely well organized.
We are a very honest guild about "who" we are. We don't tolerate any drama and realize we're playing a videogame.
Why the Trinity Council as a name?
Irmie, Fortasque, and Savi are the founding members of the guild. Together they have been through two different guilds without much luck in finding the ideals listed above. So they banded together to make their own. The term 'Council' reflects the varying racial membership and structure of the guild.
Are you actively recruiting?
Yes and no. We are selective about our membership not out of a sense of elitism, but instead because we do not want to become a guild that adds new members anytime they ask. We want people we enjoy playing with, trust, and are looking for the same values we have. We would rather have 10 solid members, then 100 average members. In addition we are not above joining pick up groups for instance runs or questing as needed so we don't feel under pressure to mass recruit.
We are a mature content guild; the average age of our members is 30+, however we only accept members over the age of 18. We recruit based upon maturity and the ability to work as a team.
You probably won't be added to the guild roster right away; instead we'll friend you and play together a few times before you are added to the roster. This way we can both see if we enjoy playing together. We have a short interview process for people interested in joining our guild which includes our online application form, the 'friending' process described above, and a getting to know you chat on vent. If time allows, we like to do an instance run with you to get a feel for your playstyle.
With applicant's at lower levels this can be problematic and handled in other ways.
Assuming we all like each other well enough and our playstyles mesh this far, we'll invite you into the guild as an applicant. This gives us both around two weeks to determine if we are truly a good match for each other. After the two weeks, we will review the application and decide if the fit is right for a full membership invitation.
Do you have a Guild Bank and how does it work?
Yes. New members will have restricted access to it for awhile, however if you need an item from it you can always ask Irmie, Savi, or Ehman and they can mail it to you. We just don't grant new members instant access to the guild bank, since we've seen other guilds have their entire bank looted by doing so.
Our guild bank usually has various trade items, gold, and lower level equipment in it. If you take something from it all we ask is that your add to it when you can. Even if no one currently in the guild can use your items it will generate a trickle down effect for lower level new members.
The guild bank is a place to share, trade items, loot, and resources with the guild. It isn't a place to withdraw items and sell them. We use it to make the guild better, not to make individual players money. All members can use the "Guild Repair Fund" feature to have the cost deducted from the Guild Bank.
PVP? Roleplaying? Raids?
In a nutshell, yes. We have some members that enjoy battlegrounds and raids. We have others that enjoy role playing, and we have some that enjoy both. We don't define ourselves as a certain type of guild, however we tend to run instances as a guild more then battlegrounds as a guild. Recently we have been hitting the instances a few times a week and are currently raiding in ICC.
What is the future of the guild?
Instance runs are a big core part of the guild and will continue to be in the future. We would like to build up a solid roster of all classes and levels in order to explore the higher end raids and content of the game. However as lower level players join the guild, we want to keep a dedicated portion of the guild for them. We enjoy the entire WoW experience at all levels and are dedicated to making this guild a place to do so.
What does the Guild need?
You. Any class, level, or Horde race is welcome, however we could use healers or dps of any variety. If you are disgruntled with your guild and are looking for people as described above, then please send a message to Savi, or Irmie in game. Alternatively you can leave a message in our forums and someone will get back to you (hopefully) within 24 hours, or fill out our application under the 'recruit' link on the left.

* Raiding Info:
Currently our guild enjoys an active and dedicated group of players. We run 10 man end game content weekly. Since we have a few more people than there are spots, we take turns sitting on the bench as needed. We are in the position of having more than needed for 10 man, and not enough for 25 man. Be aware that new recruits are not guaranteed a spot in our regular weekly raids. Our current members have put a lot of work into the guild and into each other, so they continue to have first dibs on raid spots as it stands, though as a mature team you will find that regular members will often sit out to make space for new people. All of the above is subject to change on an individual basis.
Please see 2010 Raiding Rules for further info. Currently raids are Tuesday and Fridays, 7:30ish server time.
